Detroit Motor Co. has unveiled its new engine for its new 2019 Cadillac XTS.
The new engine will be used in the Cadillac XT, the latest Cadillac model to be equipped with a 6.2L V-8 that is expected to be rated for 400 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque.
The Cadillac Xt was introduced in 2021, but it is only now being made available for dealerships.
GM said the engine will feature a larger cylinder and more powerful turbocharger.
It is expected that the new engine could produce 400 hp, 450 lb-force of torque and be rated at 400 hp.
The engine will also include a variable valve timing system, a new front end, new brake and suspension components, and a new exhaust system that will be “custom-designed” to the XTS, GM said.
The engine will start at $20,000 and go up to $36,000.
