A virtual reality experience is what a company called Immersive Engineering uses to create a virtual environment where you can take part in a game or watch a movie, but not exactly where you want to go.
That means a few things: It’s not exactly like sitting in a theater with a big screen behind you.
You can’t really get a feel for how the environment feels, and you can’t actually see anything but the virtual environment.
You have to figure out where to put your feet.
The technology is more like a virtual theatre, where you sit and wait for the experience to unfold, rather than directly interact with it.
And unlike a theater, you can walk around and interact with the environment, too.
Immersive Engineers has created a few games that use VR, but none of them really stood out to me as anything particularly special.
That was until I saw an early version of its new Oculus Rift headset, which is just as immersive.
“When we first got the Oculus Rift, we were thinking, ‘OK, we’ve got a lot of VR experience, and we want to be able to build an immersive environment that feels really natural and fun,'” said Chris Lutomirski, director of product management at Immersive.
“But we had a lot to do with making sure that the VR experience was really easy to learn, really easy for players to learn to use, and really easy when you’re actually doing the game.”
One of the first things I did was watch a demo that Immersive engineers had built, a VR version of a game called The Rift Wars.
The Rift wars, as it’s called, pits players against one another in an arena in the middle of an arena filled with lasers.
Players can use a grappling hook to control the laser beams and then attack each other, all while moving and jumping.
There’s a lot going on in that demo, but the one thing I found that surprised me the most was the lack of motion blur in the game.
“The VR world is completely dynamic,” Lutomski said.
“You don’t see any of that motion blur that you might expect.
There are only three directions that you can look.
So you have these lasers coming from the left side of the screen, and they’re coming towards you from the right side of that screen, but you can turn your head, or turn your body, or move your head. “
One of the things that we found is that in the VR world, we’re able to create more dynamic movement that was previously not possible.

“If you looked down and saw that there were moving objects, it was really interesting to see how you were able to react to those things. “
It was really cool to see that there was motion in the world,” he added.

That’s a really exciting thing for me because we’ve never been able to do that before.”
The Rift War demo was played on a PlayStation VR headset, but it was also tested on the Oculus version, which also has a screen and motion controls.
“We’re using the Oculus headset, and it was pretty smooth,” Luttomirsksi said.
The demo included two players in the same room, so the Rift War’s real-time view was pretty much the same, although the player’s position was slightly different.
The player on the left had a large laser array on the ground, and the one on the right had an array of laser beams aimed at him.
The one on his left was shooting lasers at the player from a distance.
As soon as the player moved his body, the lasers started moving in different directions.
As the laser array moved, the player could see the lasers as they moved.
In the VR game, that movement was done by using the controllers on the controller and the player moving the controllers.
I didn’t have a problem moving my body while playing the demo, Luttomski told me.
I also had a feeling that I was moving my head around as I played the demo.
The only thing that was a little bit odd was when the player had the laser arrays on both sides of the arena, and when the lasers were pointing at one player, the other player could feel them.
“That was a really neat trick,” LUTOMSKI said.
I’m very familiar with the Oculus platform, so when I tried it out, it felt like it was just a really nice way to use the platform, to use a lot more of the technology and to have some sort of immersive experience.
“In the real world, you’re trying to do a bunch of different things,” he said.
It’s kind of like playing the game from the comfort of your couch, Lutommirski said, because it’s the same experience.
He added that the Oculus controllers also made it possible to move around in the arena.
