There’s a good chance you’ve heard of computer science, or at least know someone who does.
But what’s that really?
Well, it’s the most popular field in the world and one of the fastest growing.
It’s also one of those fields that has been under attack for years by the media and the academic community.
That’s where the media has been hammering the field, saying that it’s outdated and doesn’t have the skills it needs to compete with more sophisticated and innovative tech.
And that it is actually taking a lot of jobs away from the average American.
But that’s not what’s happening in computer science.
It has some of the most talented people in the country, according to a study by the New America Foundation.
The report cites research that suggests computer science graduates are more likely to get jobs than those who majored in another STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) field.
But there’s more to the story.
Computer science graduates tend to be the ones with the highest pay, according, the report said.
Computer scientists in particular are likely to earn higher salaries than those with other degrees.
The median salary for a computer scientist was $91,000 in 2019, up from $83,000 two years earlier, according the report.
And the median salary of a computer programmer was $88,000, up 2% from two years ago.
And, of course, the average salary of someone who majors in a different STEM area is higher.
Computer and information sciences graduates have the highest median salaries of all majors.
Computer engineers have the lowest median salary.
The study found that in 2019 the median salaries for computer science majors was $92,000 and for information science was $93,000.
The data is based on the 2016-2017 academic year.
The New America report notes that those figures include all undergraduate degrees.
But the data shows that computer science students have a better shot at getting a job in the field.
According to the report, students who majed in computer engineering in college were almost three times more likely than those from the other major to get a job.
They were also much more likely, on average, to get job offers.
Computer scientist salaries, by the numbers Computer science majors tend to have higher salaries.
They also have more seniority compared to other engineering majors.
That means they’re likely to have access to higher-paying jobs, including those in higher-tech areas, like finance.
Computer engineering grads are also more likely in general to work in a computer science field, and that’s something to be aware of.
But computer scientists also have higher earnings than those in other fields.
For example, computer scientists earned $1,834 more in 2019 than those whose major was not computer science and $1.839 more than those that were computer engineering.
Those with a computer engineering major earned $3,527 more in 2018 than those of other majors.
